, exists to stimulate, facilitate and support educational programs, events and incentives related to the annual Pennsylvania Farm Show. Pennsylvania Farm Show Scholarship Foundation
A Pennsylvania 501(C)(3) charitable organization, the Farm Show Scholarship Foundation
builds on the best traditions of the annual Farm Show, with a special focus on educational activities and scholarship support for eligible and worthy students demonstrating a commitment to Pennsylvania agriculture. The foundation is managed by a board of directors who are elected annually. The board is comprised of foundation members, previous livestock buyers and those who serve as chairs of various Farm Show committees.
The foundation was established in 1993 through the vision and generous support of several key leaders in agriculture, and three companies that contributed more than $11,000 toward scholarships. Current scholarship funding comes from Farm Show champion animal sales, corporate membership dues, individual contributions, proceeds from hotel and restaurant listings in our annual accommodations brochure, buyer contributions from the Farm Show’s junior livestock sale and the foundation’s annual benefit dinner and auction. Since its founding, the foundation has awarded nearly $1,064,750 in scholarships to 395 worthy 4-H and FFA youth.
Student scholarship eligibility is determined in a straightforward manner: anyone who exhibited a Farm Show junior market animal since 1993 and is enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution is eligible to apply for a scholarship.
Scholarship Application Forms:
There are two types of memberships: Ambassador’s Club and Regular Membership. The Ambassador’s Club is available for individuals and businesses who wish to visibly demonstrate their support of agriculture and the foundation. Annual Ambassador’s Club dues start at $300 per individual and $500 for a corporation or business. Regular membership is open to any person interested in supporting the mission of the foundation. Annual membership dues are $50. Both categories of membership are encouraged to attend all foundation meetings, including board of directors meetings. All members are eligible to serve on the various committees that drive the work of the foundation.

Farm Show Scholarship Foundation Breakfast
You are invited to attend the 19th annual Farm Show Scholarship Foundation breakfast to celebrate the outstanding 4-H and FFA youth that have received the 2018 farm show scholarship.
